Associated RC8 Race Spec RTR - ROAR Nats TQ ready-to-race!

Associated's XP3D three-channel FM and micro receiver are no slouch, with ten-model memory, LCD display, removable frequency module, digital trims, a list of adjustments like dual-rate, end-points, and exponential, and a low battery alarm that put the RC8RS's included transmitter on par with the radio systems that often replace the equipment of the typical RTR.

Even with the stock tires, I was able to cruise around the track at a respectable pace without much effort, testament to the stability of the stock setup. While lacking the razor=sharp quickness of our Factory Team test car, the calm understeer of the RS will be easy to control for new drivers on a wide variety of surfaces.

Team Associated Factory Team RC8: Good things are worth the wait

Suspension seems to be where Associated sent much of its engineering horsepower, as the RC8's true innovation lies in the small details of its astounding suspension system. Raised mounts on the lower arms allow the shocks to be angled sharply inward yet retain the most desirable leverage over suspension movement. In doing this, Associated was able to create very compact woven carbon-fiber shock towers that are less likely to break during a crash, and even less likely to transfer crash forces to the gearboxes.

Point the RC8 in the right direction, stab the throttle and hold on; the RC8 is unsurpassed in the ability to get the power to the ground in a hurry.
