What started your interest in the R/C hobby?

Always loved rc cars as a kid and as i got old i stumbled across on road ep rc

My first love of the rc hobby was the TENSOR!! TENSOR!! and that OOPS I CRASHED MY AIRPLANE VIDEO. That is what started my interest in the rc hobby. TEAM AE rules dood!!!!!

I saw the club in the local news letter, they were offroad, being new i thought that it would be by Monster Trucks going over wet mud and rock climbing. Only upon seeing the track i saw what it off-road really meant. I then joined and i loved the hobby since.

The fact that you can actually drive a car, not just play with a model or whatever.... I started into R/C when i was about 5 (in 1996)

When I went to the local 1/4 mile dirt oval track, and they had an R/C club from a local town there running their R/C vehicles. After I saw them run and saw how fast some of them were, I feel in love with the idea of little R/C cars and trucks running around the track.

My Dad bought a rc10 and raced my uncle. i had the "frog" and have since upgraded to all rc10 models. it's a great family sport. and hey. it's FUN. HR Flagpole, AZ.

A friend of mine purchased a nitro tc-3 and I liked it so I bought it from him and recently purchased a monster gt which I think is totally cool.

Cause mama said i dont need no tv activator no more, RC is the way for me, just get me a good dc unit, until I found that article in the rc mouse mag, that got me flyin high about this wonderful hobby of rc. I'm all in for team AE

my interest started when one of my co-workers invited me to a local off-road nitro race (1993) i have been hooked every since. p.s. -i currenty own five touring cars.

Well, first off you need to now I was injured on the job. A torn rotator cuff and two tendons in my right shoulder. Another transport operator I work with knew how bored I am and he has the RC10GT. He asked me if I would go to the hobby store with him to pick up his newly tuned RC10GT. I was only around the RC section for 2 minutes when he said I should get one to race him, Jokingly. Well I bought the MGT and I have not looked back since! The MGT is a BLAST! When I get back to work, you can be assured I will be taking it on the road with me. Thanks AE for giving me my sanity back. OH and Bob, THANK YOU.

One day da kid who live down the skreet popped up all like "my nikko dust out yo boxer TMAX!" SON! I proppogated to bust his shack special up directly. Took him foeva to pick up all dem pieces. I loved it. Eva since then my MAx been Whip numba one and I cant never find enough time to get my R/C skrizo on.
