What was your most embarrassing moment in the R/C hobby?

when my firebird commander (plane) went out of range and crash landed into a river (this was my very first flight) but survived except the fuse aloj.

My moment in the spotlight would have to be at the Hobby People race this last weekend. I had problems in both my heats that kept me from finishing either race. I thought I had it figured out for the Main (C-main woo hoo). I took a couple of practice laps before the main then got to my spot on the grid. I was feeling good because I finally had everything working. At the sound of the tone I squeezed the trigger and.......nothing. I was stopped on the straightaway as everyone took off. Loose brushes are a pain =oP

The most embarrassing moment with my rc car was when 2 of my wheels flew off my car while lots of people were watching me, and my wheels were just rolling away.

When I crashed my truck in to a curb and it broke in half

Once when I was into RC planes, I was flying when it started glitching. I looked down and noticed my antenna was down. Being younger then I was too embarrassed to pull it up in front of everyone. So I decided to try and bring it in, but it ended up crashing and it was majorly damaged. That was one of the last times I flew a plane, and I only have one now.

Most embarrassing moment actually happened to my friend at a European champs event...he installed his rear diff the wrong way around in his predator and the front wheels pulled forward and the rear wheels in reverse!!

My RC10gt went out of control, full bore into the marshal had to chase it down due to the fact that a crystal had popped out. To make it more embarrassing there were like 10 people helping me find one little crystal because I had no spares. needless to say I finished racing that day because of some great people

After shaving 0.2 seconds of the track record during practice, I was so happy that I neglected to re-fuel before the main. Ran out of fuel on the fourth lap.

I was racing my Nitro DS in the a main. I came wide and blasted some chick who was sitting on the edge of the track. I was full on speed and hit her square in the buttocks. She got up and put my car back on the track. But I felt so bad I had to stop and see if she was OK. I was embarrassed but it was funny as hell.

Buying a Traxxas Rustler before doing any research on other stadium trucks. Two weeks later I ran down to the hobby shop for my RC10T4 RTR SE! Anyone looking to buy a barely used Rustler? LOL!

Yo my most embarassing moment In my Rc hobby life great!. This one time my other skrider plane went UH OH! on top da house when none other the wing flaped in upon one anther. Erebody was a laughin and a hootin, i ran home like nobodys bussiness Full on Speed!!

when they where racing on the track, I had to flip over a car and one of them ran into my foot.

When i went to my first race and forgot shoes!

When I was practicing at a local track, and I didn't quite make the turn and my truck flew off the track in the pit area. But the was only a small crash on the bottom of the chassis. Thats why I love my T4, it's tough.
