Good hex drivers, not "L" shaped Allen Keys. AE provide a good set with the NTC3 but they still round over eventually. 3" flat bladed screw driver. For carb adjusting. Non contact thermometer. boiling spit is not an accurate way to tune your engine. Wrenches for each size nut, the AE fibre reinforced plastic set is still going strong after 3 years of racing every week. Pen and note book, how did the car handle on this track last time? what did I change during practice? Two glow warmers, one in your pocket one on the bench. Ride height, droop, castor and camber gauges. your set up will wander during a race day according to how many times you hit the wall. A3 size exploded parts drawing. to find the part number of the part you just broke hitting the wall ( a NTC3 V2 exploded parts diagram would be nice).

First and foremost the tools that are required for maintenance on the car (eg. Allen keys, Phillips screwdrivers, etc.). Many Nitro racers also need an air compressor to clean their cars after every run.

Good hex drivers, not those silly little ball drivers. The way I run I need to use JB on all my bolts otherwise the will bust out mid race and my car will go crazy like a James Bond tool.
