A Good team that Respects everyone and Helps each other out. Has club events & More
A successful club should encourage new drivers and help them get started.
I've never seen a "club" survive due to a select few who mouth about how things are run but never offer to help when it comes time to repair the track or run the races. Communication seems to be the one thing that makes or breaks a good club.
having good communication between the owners and the customers, having good dirt to race on, racing at least two nights a week, clean well kept track, pitts and hobby shop.
affordable - keep $ down to keep #s up. Foster stock/budget class racing to get the and keep the "never goin pro" people. reliable - have a schedule and stick to it. diversity - Nitro may be the hottest, but some want the bang for the buck that comes in electric.
lets see well a trait is a: "distinguishing quality or characteristic as of personality" . so then a successful R/C racing club has members whom have positive attitudes and a positive outlook with the drive and means to maintain, advance, increase and improve the club as a whole and each individual of the club and new or future members along with racers, spectators outside the club and the sport of R/C racing itself --- whew! otherwise have fun help others and "party on dudes & dudets" nuff said!!
to have an organised owner/race control, who you can TALK to, considerate fellow racers who observe what frequencies people are using (or lets just all race with spektrums ; ) .), some decent carpet oh and i nearly forgot, A PIT FULL OF FACTORY TEAM TC4'S (who would want to race with INFERIOR xrays/losi's etc.
