i was ripping-up a skate park with my mgt and i was half way through my 2nd tank and i hit a puddle at full throttle and it hydro-planed right into a grind rail and shattered the front bumper, upper and lower suspension arms on the front right and some how the tire got a gash in it and i also bent the axle.
I think my worst crash was when i broke the drive-shaft...
me and my friend decided it would be a good idea to see how far my (bone stock) rc18t could jump......after a few dummy runs i floored the thing like crazy. once off the ramp it flew 18ft!...it then proceeded to roll a lot of times, but NOTHING was broken. as the ramp is only 12 INCHES high that's some serious height!!!!!!!!!
what is the worst accident my associated vehicle ever survived? well so far all that i have broke on my FT b4 is a front a-arm but I've heard that this one kid put a 8 turn drag motor in his t4 and hit a car going as fast as his car went-- cuz his esc got screwed up-- and he lost signal, his car bounced back across the street, hit the curb, bent the motor plate, and hit the car's rim so hard it shattered the hub cap. i personally don't believe it but everyone says it happened.
none. i had it running great out of the box for only 45 min, then accidentally ramped it into a pile of rocks. Broke a rear shock tower, and now my servos are all screwed up.
I really would like to see some of the deleted post that don't get up. some of these that did make it are really funny. you guys should post up a spot that shows what post should not look like as to avoid getting the same ones over and over again. later
The ones that don't make it are posts that don't answer the question, or require too much editing to comprehend: "What servos will fit in my ... ?" "Will you come out with a ... ?" They have to deliberately ignore two warnings before hitting the Submit button, so I reject them without mercy.
I offered little insider help to this new kid, he was annoying always talking like he had bags of hobbytown stuff in his closet. I decided not to tell him the secrets of this rc track. well he ended up getting revenge on me for that little trick! driving full speed he clicked on his transmitter that was on my channel. My tc3 went straight for davy jones locker. last minute ditch effort was made to save it. luckily he was running some crappy transmitter and the batter trey fell out of it onto his feet. i regained complete control of my tc3, halted it and begin to whale utmost prevalence upon him. He decided not to do it again after a stern slap and as soon as he regained consciousness i learned him the good way to set up your car. i also made him buy a tc3 cause they are the best out there. THINK AE TC3!!
My worst wreck was when Seth cut me off. David was there too. but i had the foresight and turned just in time. he slid into an open storm drain. I laughed hysterically. this was postceded by a slap and degradation. I ran off crying. they call me D-ANDY!
My MGT .28 took a 12' foot drop on its roof, tried to do a back flip.
I just bought the new MGT 4.6. The first day I ran it, after the break in process, I landed a jump on the right side tires and I tried to turn out of the roll over but the right rear tire caught a small tree stump. I thought for sure I broke something, like a turnbuckle or or an axle. BUT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG. I turned it over and kept on truckin!!!! :) THIS ASSOCIATED TRUCK ROCKS
My local track is in an old warehouse that we heat with a Torpedo heater. My TC-3 was hit on a turn, rolled several times, and went into the opening of the heater! It melted the front of my body, bumper, and some of the tire before it could be pulled out by a turn marshal. He threw it back on the track and I finished the race! Jim C.
The most-worst accident my ERC hobby level car had survived was a from the shorting on the voltages. We took one new 4 cell 300omah lipo from my bag in my closet and threw her down in my dirty rig. I ran it from the line!!!! and when flames began- I saw a light and then k-pow!!!. Fire on the tc4!!!!! All that could be seen under the body. I took it and threw it in a bag in my closet.
Here i go, once more i got another Team AE truck, perform it did, all out it was. I loved my truck from Team AE. but one night at the parking lot. i was traveling like 80 but the brakes went out. i ran over a squirrel once too. it had no idea what to do it just jumped up and danced for me. i love the brake. my throttle also got stuck once. made no sense to me. any who. truck plus house usually is demise and it was. as Seth mentioned before L shaping of my chassis parts was occurred. It happens like that i guess. That was a great week.
I was running it full blast this one time, outa nowhere my brother Dannie came blasting around this corner i told him not to. but alas he hit my tc3. pieces were everywhere, but i drove it back missing a wheel hex and key driver. His car chassis stuck in throttle and went to perform the extrapolate "B" form chassis maneuver. He was upset. i slapped him to calm his nerves. He never says anything about that day. sometimes he cries about his car though.
I am the worst accident my AE vehicle ever survived!!!
My friend wrecked his suv driving back from the bust-a-move nationals in Georgia. His GT went for a ride like seen never from before. Down the highway in pieces. He got the carcass from the shoulder and got it. The pieces were all in the road. So most of them were supernatural. lost. He did get the main parts together so I guess you could say it survived. I was buster bad!
My worst fiasco happened one race night, it was cold, real cold, i stepped up a notches, the Main A race started i went and it happened, i had my motor wires backwards. My nitro tc3 went straight backwards. My brakes did it again. they didn't do it right though. i ran into a fellow rc and it turned us both into metal mayhem. his throttle stuck and it slung his reciprocating parts through my body. both cars were with out a doubt ruined. it was the worst ever. i just bought me another tc4. ITS the BEST!
Back in 1992 my RC10CE (championship edition), which was converted to an on-road car with McAllister wheels and direct drive, was hit while driving into the rear no 2 corner by an 1/8 On-road (Picco Chassis) car at full speed during free practice on the Dasing race track near Augsburg Germany. The only thing damaged were the two aluminum nose braces, and nothing else. After repairs I was back on track in no time. Maurice Belleville Denver CO
First off, good question of the week!! The worst accident I ever had was up when my GT ran to the curb. I caught vicious interference from david's tx and the love for my GT was split by two tx's. when all the sudden it spat in the wrong direction and my nose tubes got lodged in the diff housing. from full on speed my car ran from me. impact occurred with concrete. My chassis was an "L". I had an LGT!!!!!
