What is the best thing that happened to you because of this hobby?

The best thing that's happened to me because of this hobby is that I'm starting to pick up small sponsorships, makes me feel like all the time and effort/money spent is actually starting to pay off.

it helps me when i am bored and now me and 4 friends are competing with rc 18b's and 18mt's so we work around the neighbor hood mowing lawns and weedeating for money to pay for performance parts. Tony.M age 14 calgary ab

in high school we all know we're faced with decisions all day every day. r/c has kept me off the streets and away from gangs.

I raced RC in my youth. Then I raced real sprint cars with the IRA in Wisconsin. My children have grown now so I retired from racing. I have retaken up RC racing again. I bought a new TC4. I saw my local track also had a kids class with the RC18T. I bought 2 new trucks. One for me and one for my 8 year old. So He and I could race on the same nite there. He has won 7 out of 10 features now. My 11 year old daughter wanted to check it out. She is a winner also. I now have 3 TC4's and 4 RC18T's. We are having a great time with the RC racing again. Team Associated makes the best cars. I will not buy anything else. I am now planning on buying a T4 and B4. Thanks.
