REEDY INVITATIONAL TRUCK RACE OF CHAMPIONS

Team Associated wins all four classes!

This Annual Reedy Invitational Truck Race was held at the famous Ranch Pit Shop in Pomona, Calif. The Ranch had the track well prepared for the event. Racers from all around the country came to participate. There were four classes, Invitational Electric Trucks, Gas Trucks, Expert Modified, and Expert Stock classes. When the dust had cleared, Team Associated had won all four classes! Lloyd Dassonville won his first-ever major race in winning the Invitational Electric Class. Billy Easton also won his very first major race, winning the Gas Truck event by 2 laps. Brandon Aymar won both the Expert Modified and Expert Stock Truck Classes with his RC10T3’s. Our congratulations to these drivers, and to the rest of our Team, for their outstanding performances!

Lloyd Dassonville (center) TQ’d the Invitational Electric Truck Class, and then pulled away from the competition to win his first-ever major event. He had three World Champions chasing him, but he didn’t make even one mistake. Mark Pavidis (right) followed in 2nd place, with Scott Hughes taking 3rd place. All three drivers used Reedy Modifieds motors, with Reedy batteries, LRP digital speed controls, and Pro-Line tires in their Associated RC10T3 trucks.

Billy Easton (left) won this 30 minute race by 2 laps, giving Billy his first ever major race win, too. Austin Dvorak drove an error-free race to take a well deserved 2nd place finish. Both drivers used OS Max engines, running O’Donnell fuel, and Pro-Line tires in their Associated RC10GT gas trucks.
